All the rugs I’m loving this spring

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of travel, from Jackson Hole to New York City to Vermont just in a few weeks.

It’s been fun, and busy, and the combination of spring cleaning and brighter days ahead coincided with me stumbling across some really wonderful rugs and inspiration from these cities that I want to share with you!

Jackson Hole, Wyoming

I first saw a chair (that I’m keeping secret for now) in the window of Mountain Dandy and the multicolored chevron pattern was extremely cute. After some digging, I found three from Kismet Fine Rugs, also located right in town, that gave me chair vibes. I’ll explain a few blogs from now.

  • I like the incorporation of color in the flowers, and think it would be fun for a kids room (plus it’s very much on the spring theme).

  • Selling me purely on the pom-poms. It’s small and 100% wool. A coat closet or mud room that isn’t too damp would be a great place for it.

    Type: Hand-Knotted Rug

    Material: 100% wool (pile)

    Weave: Finest hand-knotted

    Size: 3′× 5′

  • The Jackson finale for me. The colors, the stripes, the fringe, I love it all.

    Type: Baluch

    Material:100% wool (pile)

    Weave: Finest hand-knotted

    Size: 3′× 5′

Riverdale, New York

Riverdale, New York

While visiting a friend’s home in Riverdale, New York I saw the first out of the three below in a guest room and had to harass him for the details. It was soft but durable, and the color is more vibrant in person. I love the playfulness it brought to the room, and was styled with a wooden chest and lighter wall color.

Okay, shouting out the Vermont Country Store for this one. Like NY, this is technically all the same rug, but the colors deserve their own features. Plus, the oval style has more versatility, bedroom or office, or even under the coffee table energy.

ANDDDD that’s the March Rug Roundup! You can sign up for more blogs like these and send me your ideas and hearts desires here!
